Lumina Crystallis - Show by Luc Petit
The dates and times of the performances will be announced very soon.
In autumn, the Abbey of Val Saint-Lambert will transform into a backdrop of light and mystery to welcome Lumina Crystallis, which is a unique, original and immersive creation dreamed up by Luc Petit, intended as a sensory experience to be enjoyed with the family, for children and adults alike.
What does this material, born of fire and human endeavour, contain? What fragments of memory still resonate beneath its surface?
Beneath its vaults, beams of light, aerial ballets and spectacular canvases form a living fresco accessible to all audiences. Poetic figures appear and disappear, guiding the gaze and feeding the imagination of children and adults alike, as if drawn by the sparkle of the crystal.
Lumina Crystallis is an immersive, poetic and majestic spectacle, as well as being the major event of the Bicentenary: a collective, intergenerational experience to be enjoyed intensely and which you can take with you long after the lights have gone out.
Where matter becomes light, and light, memory.
Luc Petit Patrimoine
Luc Petit and the LPC Patrimoine team have been working hard for years to revisit and showcase heritage, reinventing history, myths, tales, and traditional legends, combining all disciplines and techniques of the performing arts.
This unique approach has been recognized with the award of the Mérite Wallon to Luc Petit for his exceptional promotion of Wallonia's heritage gems—cathedrals and monuments such as the Château de Beloeil—which the shows have been highlighting for more than twenty years, each time renewing the scripts, staging, artistic cast, and music and lighting design.
Indeed, by breaking away from the usual framework of what we see in terms of shows, our concept allows us to decompartmentalize the artistic performances traditionally presented, to play on the emotions and wonder of everyone, thus fulfilling the wish of a master in the field.
